Frank Church Wilderness (Big Creek)  2008

Flying into a wilderness area was very cool, you'll see some pictures of aircraft below.  We arrived in "the Frank" on June 24-27th, departing with McCall Air from McCall, ID, landing at the USFS Cabin Creek airstrip.  River flow on the nearby Johnson Creek gauge (Yellow Pine) was about 1,150 - 950 cfs and had crested the week before.  I'll leave the water chart here for future planning purposes - the water was quite high and hard to fish, it would be better a week later although we all agreed the date planning was right on.

Attendees:  Tate, Edge, Nasty, Rob, Glen, Doug, DJ, and Dave.
