Selway River, 2012

The 30th Annual Labor Day Trip in August, 2012 was a revisit to our original site 30 years previous - Labor Day #1.  Wee all had quite a shock to see how the road and camping along the river has changed and old favorite camping sites had been removed or reforested.  I guess a lot can happen in 30 years!  We met up old friend Ed Krause from fraternity days back at the University of Idaho, he and his son drove some 26 hours to make the trip and it was really great to catch up on old times.

The fishing was typical of mid-summer hot days... not a lot going on, but it gave us some classic beach time and we all had a lot of fun coaching the boys on their casting style.  Conor hooks one spring Chinook jack that sent him running down the bank.  Unfortunately the fish came unbuttoned.

Attendees:  Scott, Fate, Edge, Ed Krause, Glenn, Major Tom, and new attendees: Conor Hogan, Burnam, Krause.
